You may apply/renew online, by fax or by mail. We accept credit cards for all transactions. For applications mailed in, we also accept personal checks and employer checks/purchase orders.

Enclose your credit card information or a check payable to "New York State TESOL".
Please log in to the Members Only Website regularly to update your contact information. You will receive 3 renewal notices by email during the 60 days before your membership expires. Be sure to allow access to our 2 domains. (Domain information was listed in your confirmation email.)

Discounted Membership Update
NYS TESOL is committed to providing members with the most up-to-date resources, news and educational tools. To help provide access to all members of our field, NYS TESOL offers discounted memberships.
Recently, we revised the documentation policy for discounts to align with other non-profit organizations and create greater consistency and transparency. Please check the new requirements when you prepare to renew.

Proof of Full-time status (min. 12 credits per semester)-transcript from degree program or official letter of confirmation from Registrar |
* All applicants for discounted memberships will need to submit an Eligibility Webform with each application cycle. Written documentation for Students must be provided each year. Other Discounted Members need only provide documentation every third year.
