NYS TESOL 2009 Conference "Critical Literacy: Opening Words and Worlds to English Language Learners" Date: November 13-14, 2009 Location: Crowne Plaza Hotel, 66 Hale Avenue, White Plains, New York 10601 Call For Proposals • Do you have a great activity that works in your classroom? • Have you conducted action research? • Has your program model recently changed? Think about sharing your professional insights with your colleagues! We are looking for your input for our 39th Annual Conference! Our theme is Critical Literacy: Opening Words and Worlds to English Language Learners, and all are welcome to submit proposals for presentations on this theme and instructional practice, however proposals with or without critical literacy as the focus will be considered.
